This years fastest submission was 23 seconds by Guillaume Huni (Zerjal Team) – Serbia at Grapplers Showdown 2 on the 30th May 2009.
Guillaume Huni went on to win the Grapplers Showdown Absolute Challenge.

With a large number of competitors form the UK and Europe entering this year’s show we expected many great fights and were not disappointed. Competitors came from the UK, Poland, Serbia, Norway, Germany and Romania to compete at G-S 2 making it an action packed day for all. Grapplers Showdown was proud to have UK's well known MMA Fighters Alex Ried, Brad Pickett, Denniston Sutherland and Gaz Roriston competiting at this years event along with all the fighters who stepped onto the mat.
